WEEK THEME OVERVIEW

This week explores creativity as a powerful problem-solving tool. Campers use art, design, and storytelling to express ideas, work through challenges, and build confidence.

Outdoor STEAM focuses on nature-inspired creativity, while indoor sessions support design thinking and digital tools.

Guest Artist Announcement – August 10

We are excited to welcome Lisa Town as our guest artist for Outdoor STEAM Camp on August 10. Lisa is a Whitby based mixed media artist known for her bold use of colour, texture, and storytelling inspired by everyday life and community spaces. Her work encourages curiosity, observation, and creative confidence, making her a perfect fit to kick off the week. 3D Modelling Basics

Perfect for creative kids, campers learn the fundamentals of 3D design using Tinkercad under the guidance of Code Ninjas Pickering instructors. They create fun items such as bubbles, vehicles, and characters while learning the basics of modelling and printing.

Campers will have access to indoor and outdoor washroom facilities
